ECASS Technologies is a research and development Company initially supported by the United Kingdom Government Department of Trade and Industry. The Company was formed to design, develop and produce a Silence Machine ( Electronically Controlled Acoustic Shadow System) to reduce environmental noise. The government funding has now finished and the company is looking for private investment.  

There is no commercial product available at this time.  It is believed a successful product  will result in a huge sales potential. The concept of electronically controlled acoustic shadow systems (“ECASS”) is a unique approach to reduce sound in large unconfined spaces such as factories, offices and outdoors.
